OUR MISSIONis to support the rural communities of Amherst County by delivering prepared meals to seniors and disabled individuals. By supplying food and daily contact with the outside world, we make it possible for homebound individuals to continue to lead independent lives and remain in their own homes. Our meals are prepared by local restaurants and churches. We receive no government funding, but instead draw our support from the individuals, businesses and religious and social organizations of our county. As a member of the Meals on Wheels Association of America, we embody the spirit of that organization's Rural Initiative, striving to become an integral part of our rural communities.
